Aún haré brillar la instrucción como la aurora, e irradiaré su luz lo más lejos posible; aún derramaré la enseñanza como una profecía, y la dejaré para las generaciones futuras. Porque yo no he trabajado sólo para mí, sino para todos los que buscan la sabiduría.
Ustedes se preguntaran que si ya no hay mas profetas, recuerden sin embargo que Cristo Jesús fue el profeta anunciado desde los tiempos de Moisés; con la llegada del Mesías, vivimos ahora en la plenitud de los tiempos, y la función profética ha sido investida por el Señor a la Iglesia, pues ha como ustedes saben profecía en términos bíblicos es, anunciar la palabra de Dios y denunciar las injusticias, corregir a los fieles y cuidar del depósito de la fe.
Somos como plantas en el Jardín del Señor, el manantial de Agua Viva nos llega del Espíritu Santo por medio de la Iglesia, la palabra de Dios es esa semilla que Jesus planta en nuestros corazones, El Sembrador es comprensivo, y no espera el 100% de producción de cada una de sus semillas, acepta hasta el 60 o 30%, y lo considera bueno. La Sabiduría es conocer la palabra de Dios y hacer su voluntad, Nustro Padre nos a dado a cada uno de nosotros, todo lo necesario para que triunfemos en la vida: Alma, Espíritu, y cuerpo físico con un cerebro maravilloso; enterraremos el talento que se nos ha dado, o lo haremos producir mas? Cual es tu respuesta?
(Sirach 24:30) Now I, like a rivulet from her stream, channeling the waters into a garden, Said to myself, "I will water my plants, my flower bed I will drench"; And suddenly this rivulet of mine became a river, then this stream of mine, a sea.
Thus do I send my teachings forth shining like the dawn, to become known afar off. Thus do I pour out instruction like prophecy and bestow it on generations to come.
If you are wondering why we don’t have prophets any more, let me tell you, that after Christ ascended into heaven, the prophetic ministry was passed on to the church; yes, it’s possible to receive the gift of prophecy from the Holy Spirit, but, it has to be for the good of the church and from within it; as you know, in biblical terms, prophecy means to preach the word of God, and to denounce injustice; it is for correction and to guard the deposit of the faith.
The streams of Living Water from the Holy Spirit come to us through the Church, the word of God is planted in our hearts like seed by the Divine Sower, He is very understanding and will consider it good, if we produce not only 100%, but, as much as 60 or 30%. True Wisdom, is to know the Word of God and to obey his will, He has equipped us with a soul, a spirit and, a physical body with a fantastic brain, so we could live a prosperous and comfortable life in this world; would you use your talent wisely and make it produce more or, would you rather buried it and don’t produce anything? What's your response?
El Sumo Sacerdote de la Iglesia Católica
(Hebreos 5:8)… y aun siendo Hijo, con lo que padeció experimentó la obediencia; y llegado a la perfección, se convirtió en causa de salvación eterna para todos los que le obedecen, proclamado por Dios Sumo Sacerdote a semejanza de Melquisedec.

Los Judíos tenían solamente un sumo sacerdote a la vez, encargado de entrar a la cámara del Santísimo del templo, para ofrecer sacrificios a Dios, por sus pecados y los del pueblo; pero en la Nueva Alianza ya no es necesario el sacrificio de animalitos expiatorios, ni cambiar de sumo sacerdote alternativamente cada año pues Jesús, es a la vez El Cordero de Dios que quita el pecado del mundo, y Sumo Sacerdote para siempre.
Aunque al Santo Papa a veces se le llama también Sumo Pontífice, no hay que confundirlo con el Sumo Sacerdote, pues el Papa es el Vicario De Cristo, o sucesor de Pedro aquí en la tierra, pero, el único Sumo Sacerdote de la Iglesia Católica es Cristo Jesús, todos los sacerdotes, incluyendo al Papa, funcionan “in persona Christi,” es decir, que actúan en la persona de Cristo, o que la Persona de Cristo, actúa por medio de los sacramentos efectuados por los sacerdotes Católicos.

Even though sometimes we refer to the Pope as Supreme Pontiff, we should not confuse him with the High Priest; the Pope is the Vicar of Christ, or the actual successor of Peter ; but only Christ is the High Priest of the Catholic Church. All the priests of the church, including the Pope, offer the holy sacrifice of the Mass “in persona Christi”, or in the person of Christ, it could also be said that , Christ operates through the sacraments perform by the priests.
(Hebreos 2:14) Por tanto, así como los hijos participan de la sangre y de la carne (de sus padres), así también participó él de las mismas, para aniquilar mediante la muerte al señor de la muerte, es decir, al Diablo,
y libertar a cuantos, por temor a la muerte, estaban de por vida sometidos a esclavitud.
Porque, ciertamente, no se ocupa de los ángeles, sino de la descendencia de Abraham (los que tienen fe en Cristo). Por eso tuvo que asemejarse en todo a sus hermanos (la humanidad), para ser misericordioso y Sumo Sacerdote fiel en lo que toca a Dios, en orden a expiar los pecados del pueblo.
Pues, habiendo sido probado en el sufrimiento, puede ayudar a los que se ven probados.
Adán falló y no había forma de corregir la gran falta que heredó la humanidad de nuestros primeros padres, Cristo se hace uno de nosotros, y lleva conjuntamente en sus venas sangre humana (genes) heredada de su Santa Madre la Virgen María, y la divinidad del Padre; es a como todos sabemos, (excepto los que no son cristianos) verdadero Dios y verdadero hombre a la vez.
(Hebrews 2:14) Now since the children share in blood and flesh, he likewise shared in them, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil,and free those who through fear of death had been subject to slavery all their life.

Adam’s fall put the whole human race in a bind since, there was no way to get right with God again; but, Christ became one of us inheriting the human blood (genes) of the holy Virgin Mary, and the divinity of the heavenly Father, He is as everybody knows (except the ones that are not christians)at the same time, fully man and fully God .
Quizás todos ustedes hayan oído hablar de Aquíles, héroe de la mitología Griega, que poseía la invencibilidad de un dios, pero que tenia sin embargo un punto débil, y ese era el tendón de su pie. Pues bien, esto nos servirá para comparar lo que Dios dijo al Diablo en:
(Génesis 3:15) Pondré enemistad entre ti y la mujer,
entre tu descendencia y su descendencia.
Él te aplastará la cabeza
y tú le herirás el talón". (recuerdan la película: La Pasión?)
O sea que el tendón de Aquiles de Jesús, es precisamente su humanidad, porque no solo fue tentado sino que sufrió en su cuerpo y fue inmolado como sacrificio perfecto, para deshacer la desobediencia de Adán, y venció a la muerte destruyendo así el grillo que Satanás tenia atado a nuestro pie, ahora por medio del sacrificio del hombre perfecto, el Cielo se abrió de nuevo a los hijos de Adán.
Maybe you are familiar with the story of Aquilles, the Greek mythological hero who had the invincibility of a god, but, who also had a weak point, the tendon of his foot; we’ll use the story as a comparison to what God told the serpent in the Garden of Eden after the fall.
(Genesis 3:15) I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; He will strike at your head, while you strike at his heel."
We could say that Jesus’ Aquilles tendon was his humanity, since He suffered temptation as we do; it was by the offering of his body and blood on the cross as the Lamb of God, that, we were redeemed from sin. The grip of death was shattered and Satan suffered defeat, we were liberated and the Gates of Heaven were open again to the sons of Adam.
(Hebreos 4:14) Teniendo, pues, tal Sumo Sacerdote que penetró los cielos - Jesús, el Hijo de Dios - mantengamos firmes la fe que profesamos.
Pues no tenemos un Sumo Sacerdote que no pueda compadecerse de nuestras flaquezas, sino probado en todo igual que nosotros, excepto en el pecado.
Acerquémonos, por tanto, confiadamente al trono de gracia (el trono de Dios), a fin de alcanzar misericordia y hallar gracia para una ayuda oportuna.
A como repito, Cristo es el único y autentico sumo sacerdote, es el único y verdadero mediador entre Dios y los hombres. De ahí, que solo participando en la vida, muerte y resurrección de Jesús podemos realizar el culto agradable a Dios, y entrar así en una relación viva con El y alcanzar la salvación.
Al hacer suya la condición humana, Jesús se solidariza de verdad con sus hermanos los hombres, no es un sacerdote separado de ellos, sino que participa en sus sufrimientos y es capaz así de compadecerse de sus hermanos, pues al igual que ellos ha sufrido y luchado como toda persona común.
Podemos ver así que Dios antes de enseñarnos, amonestarnos o reprendernos, por medio de la humanidad de Cristo participa de nuestra condición humana, y desde esta “comunión” nos llama a participar de su propia vida.
(Hebrews 4:14) Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast to our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has similarly been tested in every way, yet without sin. So let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and to find grace for timely help.
Christ is the high priest and the only mediator between God and man, therefore, by participating in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus we could offer a pleasing sacrifice to God, and participate of His grace, and through Him obtain our salvation.
Reflejemos el amor de Dios, por medio de la participación en la comunidad; a veces hay ancianos que viven solos en nuestras vecindades, sin nadie que les de un ‘aventón’ al medico o al hospital, o que le recoja sus alimentos en el supermercado; hay muchas madres solteras que no tienen plata para comprar los útiles escolares para sus hijos, o zapatos y ropa, unámonos y formemos grupos cristianos de apoyo, y seamos luz y sal de la tierra.
